Increment in China’s Road Logistics Price Index Revealed

Industry data reveals a marginal increase in China’s road logistics price index last week, supported by a steady balance of road transportation demand and supply.

For the week spanning from September 4th to 8th, the index settled at 1,025.65 points, registering a minute 0.01 percent uptick compared to the preceding week. These findings have been unveiled through a collaborative survey conducted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing in conjunction with the Guangdong Lin’an Logistics Group.

Among the various sub-indices focusing on different vehicle types, each exhibited a week-on-week augmentation. Particularly, the sub-index reflecting full truckload logistics prices, primarily gauging bulk commodity and regional transportation, experienced a slight 0.01 percent increase, bringing it to 1,027.15 points.

In light of the survey’s findings, it is anticipated that the index will maintain its current stability or even exhibit further growth in the upcoming phase, despite potential fluctuations.
