Guangdong Premium Expo 2025 Achieves RMB 7 Billion Trade Deals

The first Guangdong Premium Products Expo wrapped up on September 14 at the Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangzhou, closing with impressive results. Over three days, the event drew more than 82,000 visitors and total confirmed and intended orders reached RMB 6.962 billion (nearly US$1 billion).

Co-hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Guangzhou International Exhibition Group, the expo covered nearly 50,000 square meters. It featured five themed exhibition zones and hosted 42 product launches, promotional events, and buyer-supplier matchmaking sessions. A total of 1,086 companies showcased their goods, ranging from home appliances and smart furniture to cultural heritage crafts and health foods.

Unlike traditional trade fairs that rely on static displays, this expo integrated “exhibition + performance + sales” to create an immersive consumer experience. Highlights included the official Guangdong Premium Products retail store, policy briefings, a curated selection forum, and business matchmaking sessions such as the Guangdong-Europe Economic and Trade Exchange.

The response from buyers confirmed the strong appeal of Guangdong’s “culture + technology” offerings. Popular categories included specialty foods, traditional crafts, and smart home appliances. The home appliance and furniture halls stood out, securing the largest share of signed contracts and intended deals.

In addition to the main exhibition, nearly 50 side events were held, including the China (Guangdong)-Europe Economic and Trade Exchange and the Qingyuan Investment Promotion Conference. These meetings facilitated more than 20 cross-border cooperation agreements, further cementing the expo’s role as a bridge between Guangdong’s premium products and global markets.
