5th Overseas Chinese Imported Commodities Expo Begins in Qingtian

The 5th Overseas Chinese Imported Commodities Expo commenced in the picturesque county of Qingtian, located in the eastern province of Zhejiang, China, on Sunday.

Spanning a vast area of 90,000 square meters and divided into six main exhibition zones, the expo is set to welcome approximately 180,000 visitors during its four-day duration, from November 12 to 15.

The expo showcases a diverse range of imported products, including items from Central and Eastern European countries, coffee-related products and equipment, beauty essentials, household goods, and fashionable clothing.

Qingtian holds a special significance as the hometown of 381,000 overseas Chinese individuals residing across 146 countries and regions worldwide. In 2018, the city initiated the Overseas Chinese Imported Commodities Expo, with the aim of creating a platform that harnesses the positive outcomes of the China International Import Expo.

Over the past four years, this unique expo has successfully drawn more than 2,300 overseas exhibitors from over 70 countries, fostering connections with over 4,000 overseas enterprises and engaging with 20,000 buyers. The cumulative intended transaction volume has reached an impressive 10 billion yuan (approximately 1.39 billion U.S. dollars).
