China Reinstates 15-Day Visa-Free Policy for Singaporean Citizens

The Chinese government has announced the resumption of its 15-day visa-free policy for Singaporean citizens starting Wednesday, according to a statement released by the Chinese Embassy in Singapore on Sunday.

Under this policy, Singaporean citizens holding ordinary passports will be allowed to enter China for various purposes, including business, tourism, family visits, and transit, as stated in the official announcement.

The statement also clarified that previously issued visas to Singaporean citizens will remain valid, and any visa applications that have been submitted will be processed as usual.

In response to this positive development, Singapore’s foreign ministry shared on social media that the reinstatement of the visa-free policy will significantly facilitate the movement of people and businesses between the two nations, fostering deeper bilateral cooperation in the process.
